Farmer Bert and his brother Albert had a secret. They had invented a device that could make their sheep fly. They called it the Fleece-o-Matic. It was a small metal collar that attached to the sheep’s neck and emitted a gentle electric pulse that stimulated their muscles and nerves. The sheep could then flap their woolly legs and soar into the sky.
Bert and Albert loved to watch their flock of flying sheep from their farmhouse window. They felt like they had created something wonderful. They also enjoyed taking their sheep for rides in their old pickup truck. They would drive to a nearby field, release the sheep from the back, and watch them zoom around like fluffy clouds.
But Bert and Albert knew they had to keep their invention a secret. They feared that if anyone found out about their flying sheep, they would want to take them away or exploit them for money. They also worried about the safety of their sheep. What if they flew too high or too far? What if they encountered predators or bad weather? What if they got lost or injured?
So, Bert and Albert decided to only let their sheep fly at night, when no one could see them. They also installed GPS trackers on each collar, so they could monitor their location and speed. And they made sure to give their sheep plenty of love and care during the day, so they would be happy and healthy.
Bert and Albert were proud of their awesome flying sheep. They hoped that one day, they could share their discovery with the world, but only when they were ready and confident that no harm would come to their beloved animals.
Coming soon: It has to do with sheep, again! But, if we told you the title, it would give itself away. Can you guess what it’s about? Leave a comment below!
